October 29, 1979 Lake Almanor Forest Owners' Association Articles of Incorporation were presented to, approved and recorded in the State of California, County of Plumas. Phillip C Russell and Charles A Peterson both represented LAFOA on this day, also holding directors positions were John W Delapp, Jr., Joseph E Greenlee, And Robert A Rosenberg. 

The primary purpose of incorporation was to form a real estate management association and to provide for the acquisition, construction, management and the care of real and personal property held by the Association, or commonly held by the members of the Association, or located in the development and owned by members of the Association.

This subdivision is located in Plumas County at Watson Road and State Highway 36 near Chester and contains approximately 130 acres divided into 178 lots in addition to the common area which consists of greenbelt areas lots "A" and "B".

The Lake Almanor Forest Owners' Association manages and maintains the subdivision and common area in accordance with the recorded covenants (CC&R's) for the subdivision and the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws of the Owners' Association.
